Center Stages' Annual Summer Workshops
offer fun-filled activities for children ages 7 to 18
The perfect summer fun for your superstar!

The Children's Musical Theater Workshop is a fun-filled week of singing, acting, choreography & theater art. A complete musical production will be presented by the children on the Friday afternoon of each workshop week. Students must be able to read. Students should bring a sack lunch & drink each day. They should wear tennis shoes & comfortable work clothes and may be required to supply basic costume parts. (Information regarding costumes, etc. will be sent home on the first day of class.) Class size limited to 40. Cost includes a Summer at The Center T-shirt.

7-12 year olds
Fees: $125 Non-BCS Members, $110 BCS Members·
Payable to BCS
Session I • June 22-26 • 9 am-3 pm.
Session II • 6/29 - 7/3 • 9 am-3 pm

The Children's Drama Workshop is a 6-day total theater experience culminating with a performance by the children on Saturday. Students must be able to read. Students should bring a sack lunch & drink each day. They should wear tennis shoes & comfortable work clothes and may be required to supply basic costume parts. (Information regarding costumes, etc. will be sent home on the first day of class.) Class size limited to 30. Cost includes a Summer at The Center T-shirt.

7-15 year olds
Fees: $135 Non-BCS Members, $120 BCS Members
Payable to BCS
Session I • July 20-25 • 9 am-3 pm
Session II • July 27-August 1 • 9 am-3 pm

The Gerrard Teen Guild Theater Workshop for teenagers is a very hands-on, intensive, two-week drama workshop that culminates with two performances. The teens will do everything: auditioning, set-building, costuming, props, make-up, hanging the lights, learning choreography, and learning a part to perform on stage. Students should wear tennis shoes and comfortable work clothes and bring a sack lunch and drink each day. Class size limited to 30 plus 2 tech positions for light and sound. Cost includes a Summer at The Center T-shirt.

13-18 year olds
Fees: $175 for all participants • Payable to BCS
One Session • June 8 - June 20 • 9:00 am - 4:30 pm

There are a limited number of positions available for session helper. Anyone interested in applying to be a helper should print, complete and return the workshop helper application so it arrives at The Center before May 9th.

	2009 BCS Summer Workshops
	Center Stages members can take advantage of on-line registration for their children or grandchildren. (On-line registration is only for children who are family members of Center Stages members). On-line registration begins May 1st and ends at 11:59 pm on May 8th. Beginning May 1st, members can click on the link below for instructions on completing on-line registration. If you are not a Center Stages member, but would like to take advantage of this on-line option next summer, call The Center office for information at 979-265-7661.
