Phylllis Travis Branch was born in Freeport, Texas in 1946 to Lillian Burroughs Travis and James Albert Kramer-Travis.  She attend the University of Virgin Islands on St Croix.  She painted for 20 years with "Dove", Lloyd Braffithe, native of St. Croix, USVI.
