Ever since I first
noticed the wonderful dolls being made by several cloth doll artists in
the early 1990’s, I have been intrigued with what can be done with some
fabric, a little stuffing and imagination. Although I have
studied sculpting dolls in polymer clay, I find working with fabric
gives me the most enjoyment. After nearly 20 years and
almost 850 dolls, I still look forward to sitting down at my sewing
machine to begin a new character. I try to pass a little of this
enjoyment along with each doll that I create. It is my hope that
they bring a smile to all who see them.
